The Bible tells us that Jesus will not come a second time without warning. Why? Because the second time He comes, He is coming to judge and wage war. God does not wish that any should perish (2 Peter 3:9), so He is giving us numerous signs to watch for. Jesus told us that no one knows the exact hour of his coming...not even the angels in heaven, but only the Father (God) knows when Jesus will come again exactly. However, He does allow us to know the season of His coming. Like labor pains when a woman is getting ready to give birth, these signs have been growing more intense and with more frequency.
On this page, I will try to keep up-to-date with world events that we believe may be signs from God that Jesus is coming soon. All one has to do is turn on the evening news or look at the front page of a newspaper to learn about these signs. Major natural catastrophes and acts of violence and neglect are a daily occurrence in the world today.
These signs can be grouped in to two categories, signs in nature and signs of man. Signs in nature are pretty self-explanatory. Earth Quakes, Hurricanes, Tornados, Mud Slides, Floods, Drought, Forest Fires, Disease, Famine...these are all signs found in nature.
The second group of signs are acts of mankind. Terrorism, War, Genocide, Government Policies, Crime, Violence and Neglect are all examples of how individual people, groups of people or governments have behaved in ways that are ungodly and unjust. These are also signs of the times that Jesus is coming soon. But, there are also some very positive signs of mankind. As Jesus promised, the gospel is being preached throughout the entire world in every tongue to every nation. Click on the links above for detailed examples of each.
